CD: SLAS introduces a new system in relation to Certification of Legislation
In order to avoid possible confusion between different drafts produced in the formulation process of legislation and the status of those drafts and to minimise possible unauthorised changes being made to draft legislation after certification and before introduction in the Provincial Legislature, the CD: State Law Advisory Services in the Department of the Premier will, as from 23 June 2004, submit certified legislation electronically via e-mail to Departments in PDF format.
Certified legislation submitted to Departments will bear verification of the certification. Click here for an example.
The certified legislation in PDF format may also be accessed directly from this website (see above on this page) and serves as an additional control of the certified version of the legislation prior to introduction in the Provincial Legislature.
