NAPSL: Proposed National Association of Public Sector Lawyers
The KZN Public Sector Lawyers' Forum considered the possible establishment of a formal Association of Public Sector Lawyers for KZN.
The KZN Public Sector Lawyers' Forum on 7 October 2004 established a Technical Committee on Investigating the Establishment of an Association of Public Sector Lawyers for KZN.

At the previous two meetings (the last meeting took place on 29 April 2005) of the Inter-provincial State Law Advisors Forum, the idea of "formalising the Forum" was mooted.
A first draft (dated 6 June 2005) of a Constitution for a proposed National Association of Public Sector Lawyers has been prepared. This first draft is based on the Constitution of NADEL.
